The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts is an Indian luxury hospitality group founded in 1986 by captain CP Krishnan Nair who named it after his wife. CurrentlyThe Leela, as it is commonly referred to, is a group of seven luxury palaces and hotels. The Leela Mumbai is an island of green in the heart of Mumbai’s commercial district.
